REV. JENNIFER 'JENNY' SMITH WALZ  - has been called to help people come more fully alive as deeply committed disciples of Jesus Christ, particularly through practices of spiritual formation, liturgy, and community-building justice and service. She and her husband Robert, an engineer, have a six-year-old son, Elliot. 


A graduate of Baylor University and Duke University Divinity School, Rev. Jenny is a trained leadership coach and spiritual director. She served churches in Arizona for 12 years and was on the pastoral team at Trinity UMC in Hackettstown for six years. In Arizona, she served on the Board of Directors for the Lodestar Day Resource Center and worked closely with the Human Services Campus and the Justa Center, all focused on eliminating homelessness and serving those experiencing homelessness. She takes great joy in getting to know people from diverse backgrounds and hearing their stories.  Jenny serves as the Chairperson of our Board.

SUSAN DAVELMAN - CEO of CCK - has been a CCK team leader since its founding in 2012. A graduate of Boston College, Susan retired as a technologist from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, a division of Bank of America, in 2023. She lives in Hillsborough and is an active volunteer in her community. 

LARRY APPERSON - founder and CEO Emeritus of CCK, grew up in the South, earned a BS in Industrial Management at Georgia Tech, and was a fighter pilot in U. S. Air Force. After a forty-year marketing career with IBM, he retired and lives in Montgomery.

TIM EWER - has served as a CCK team leader since opening night, June 6, 2012, and is the Chief Financial Officer for the Board. He served as a Trustees for Princeton United Methodist church for over ten years, and is recently retired from Siemens as a senior mechanical engineer. Tim lives in East Windsor with his wife Pam.

DOUGLAS FULLMAN - has been assisting CCK since its founding. He is retired from the Boy Scouts of America where he was an executive on the national staff, and serves as Principal of Values to Vision, LLC.  In addition to CCK he is a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, American Camp Association, AARP, and president of the Plainsboro Senior Citizens Club, and is active with Princeton United Methodist Church.  He resides in Plainsboro.

RAMESH JAYARAM - has been a CCK volunteer for Wednesday meal service and related tasks for several years. He works full time at TIAA, a non-profit financial services company. Prior to TIAA, he was associated with Merrill Lynch Bank of America, for about twenty years, where he actively participated in various annual fundraising events for United Way and other charities. He lives with his family in Plainsboro Township.

KAREN LONGO - has been teaching English as a Second Language since 1995. She taught in and developed the ESL literacy program for adults at the YWCA Princeton. In 2015 she retired from teaching ESL at Somerville High School. Karen has been teaching ESL for CCK since 2016. Besides her ESL certification, Karen’s background includes a BA in biochemistry and a Master’s in health education.

RICK KELLY - has been a weekly volunteer at CCK since November 2015. A proud native of Syracuse, NY, Rick served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) and retired after 25 years of combined service (7 years active, 18 years reserve) with the rank of Captain. Upon leaving active duty, he enjoyed a successful career in the financial services industry and is now retired. He and his wife, a teacher for 32 years in the Princeton Public Schools, live in Washington Crossing, PA.

JEANETTE TIMMONS - has been a weekly volunteer at CCK since its third month of operation in August, 2012.  She has held many positions at CCK, and is currently the clothing store manager.  Jeanette retired from litigation support management to raise her family, and has been a community volunteer all her life. She has lived with her husband and two sons in Princeton since 2009.

LORI PANTALEO- has been a volunteer with CCK since 2017. She began as a clothing sorter, and now serves as co-manager of the clothing store. Lori retired from teaching at Chapin School after 20 years, and is a member of Princeton United Methodist Church and serves on the board of The Maker’s Place, in Trenton.  She lives in West Windsor township.

MARIA LoBIONDO - started volunteering weekly with CCK as part of Princeton University’s Pace Center Month of Service, and has extended that for several years. A former preschool teacher and Princeton Packet editor, she recently retired from the University’s Advancement Communications team. She serves on the board of Dorothea’s House, the Italian American cultural center, and lives in Princeton with her husband, journalist Charles Stile.

YVONNE MACDONALD - has played the piano at CCK since its beginning. She is a retired music educator having taught General and Choral music in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, directed the Youth and Children Choirs at PUMC and directed Children’s choirs at the Westminster Conservatory of Rider University. She teaches private students, sings in the Chancel choir, and plays in the PUMC Handbell choir.

CHRISTINE KAPUTA - has been a Program Volunteer Leader since 2013. She manages food needs, supervises and recruits volunteers, and helps prepare CCK side dishes. Christine began volunteering at CCK to combat local food insecurity and encourage outreach. When she is not cooking at CCK, she is preparing meals for her six children (and dog) and in her free time enjoys hiking, reading, and you guessed it, cooking!

VIRGINIE SMITH - began her adventure with CCK in December 2022, and enthusiastically supports the clothing store team. She studied library science and has worked for various schools and museums. Now, Virginie enjoys being a crossing guard for the Princeton Police Department. Prior to moving to Princeton in 2020, Virginie, her husband Jeffrey, and their three teens lived in Versailles, France, and Brooklyn, NY.

LES SEIFER - has been a volunteer at CCK since 2018 and is in charge of the “Grocery Store”, where guests shop for free groceries as well as fresh produce, bakery items and a take-home hot meal.  Before joining CCK, Les owned a wholesale kitchen and bath company where he worked for 47 years! He currently lives blocks from CCK in Princeton with his lovely wife Amy and is the proud father of three lovely children…and a grandfather.

LIZ RILEY - has enjoyed volunteering at CC since 2019. Over these years, Liz has served weekly meals and now welcomes and preps new volunteers for our meal service. Liz and her family moved to Princeton, NJ in 2004 and she has been an active member of the community through volunteering at her children’s schools,  Arts Council of Princeton, and Meals on Wheels.

KATE LASKO - has been a weekly CCK volunteer for the past seven years. Since retiring from teaching after 27 years, Kate also started writing for and editing the PUMC newsletter and Happenings.

COLE PACINI - has been a volunteer at CCK since 2022 and enjoys serving meals, assisting the grocery store, and managing the CCK website. In May 2022 Cole graduated from Miami University of Ohio and returned home to Somerset county to work at Princeton University.
